In the Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, a woman was allegedly shot and killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Jones Moses, the MC at her wedding, confirmed that the woman, Dinatu Marshall, married in December 2020.

“After being your M.C during your wedding 28 December 2020 I never knew I will bid you farewell this soon. Mdan Marshall RIP and I pray that your blood will report this Fulani herdsmen in the Heavenly Court in Jesus name” he wrote.

Thousands of people in Southern Kaduna’s Zangon Kataf and Kauru local councils have fled to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps and other safe havens in recent weeks after being targeted by militias. Many have been reported killed.
