Anita Okoye, Paul Okoye’s (Rudeboy) estranged wife, has demanded that he pay her $15,000 (N7.8 million) per month in spousal maintenance. ⁣

Part of the petition she filed before an Abuja High Court stated, “Payment of a monthly maintenance sum of $15,000.00 (N7.8m) for the general welfare, education, and health of the three children of the union who are currently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age.”

Anita’s divorce petition was leaked on the internet after she filed it at the Federal High Court in Abuja. She reportedly told her now estranged spouse in the legal paperwork to oppose the petition if he was dissatisfied, according to reports.

Anita ignited divorce rumours in April when it was revealed that she had moved to the United States with their three children. Anita and Paul, who met at university and fell in love, wedded in a lavish wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt in 2014.

Efforts to get Rudeboy to comment on the saga has so far proved abortive.
