BBNaija: ‘Tega is not from Delta State, our women don’t behave like that’ — Gov. Okowa’s aide

Sen Ifeanyi Okowa’s Special Assistant on Special Duties, Ossai Ovie Success, has urged Nigerians to stop associating BBNaija season 6 housemate Tega with Delta State because she is not from the state.

This comes after she was dragged to mud for making out on national television with her fellow housemate, Boma, despite being married with a child. Social media users chastised her for publicly disrespecting her husband and not valuing the institution of marriage.

Because of her name, some online users equated her behaviour with that of Delta women; however, Ossai has stated that she is from Cross River state, not Delta. Married ladies from Delta state, he claims, do not behave in this manner.

He wrote on his Facebook account (see image above)

“That Tega in #BBN is not from Delta State Please.

Our married women and our wives don’t behave like that.

With all due respect , She is proudly from another state in Nigeria.

In case you don’t know she said she is from Cross Rivers State

Because she is answering a name that is similar to Delta names doesn’t mean she is from Delta State.

Take note before you start attaching her behaviour to Delta People and please stop calling my name regarding her behaviour in the house”
