Sunday Igboho’s aides’ suit adjourned

The petition filed by the 12 arrested aides of Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has been adjourned until August 4 by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Justice Egwuatu granted Pelumi Olagbenjesi, the applicants’ lawyer, permission to change his processes in order to correct the applicants’ names.

It will be recalled that within the courtroom, a little scuffle erupted between journalists and DSS operatives as the security officers attempted to prevent television cameramen from photographing the 12 aides of Yoruba secessionist, Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho.

While journalists were attempting to capture the 12 imprisoned associates, the secret police confiscated their phones.

In accordance with the judge’s direction, the aides were brought to court on Monday.

Justice Obiora Egwuatu had ordered the DSS to present the aides who had been detained since Igboho’s home was raided two months ago in court on two occasions.
