Court orders the Federal Government to pay activist Sunday Igboho N20 billion in damages
On Friday, an Oyo State High Court in Ibadan ordered the Federal Government of Nigeria to pay Chief Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, $20 billion in damages for the invasion of his home.
In early July, DSS operatives raided Igboho’s home in the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State, at midnight.
According to the secret police, Igboho had the opportunity to flee after an hour-long gunfight.
