Many individuals are said to have been killed at the Yelwan Zangam community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Several residences were also burned down in the attacks, according to the Daily Trust, which claimed more than 30 persons were killed.

This comes just a week after 27 people were slain on the Gada-biyu – Rukuba road in Jos North LGA.

A resident, Yakubu Bagudu, confirmed the new incident on Wednesday morning according to Daily Trust.

More than 30 individuals were slain, he added, and security forces have been sent to the vicinity.

As of the time of reporting this storey, the Plateau State Police Command has yet to provide specifics about the incident.
