Fake lawyer arrested in Osun, charms recovered from his house.

Muhammed Aliyu Agbaje, a 35-year-old fake lawyer, was arrested by men from the Osun state police command.

CP Olawale Olokode, the state Commissioner of Police, said on August 4 that one Muhammed Aliyu Agbaje appeared at the CP’s Surveillance station, Obelawo Area, Osogbo, to represent and seek bail for a suspect who was arrested for the offence of ‘threat to life’ and claimed to have come from the chambers of one Barrister Adeleye in Ibadan.

Olokode said he was discovered to be a fraud and lives in Owode Ede, Osun State. Some exhibits were discovered at his home after a search.

According to the police chief, the suspect admitted to impersonating a lawyer and duping innocent citizens.

He stated that after the investigation is completed, the suspect will be charged to court.
