Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 252 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday evening, 25th August 2020, confirmed 252 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
The development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 52,800 which includes 39,964 discharged cases and 1,007 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Plateau State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Enugu and Rivers State, south-south Nigeria.
