FG Close Down Chinese Company Over Water Pollution

The federal government on Friday shut down a Chinese company polluting water supply in Karshi area council of the federal capital territory (FCT).

This was made known by the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) in a post on Twitter.

“The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency, NESREA has sealed off a Chinese Gold Mining Company, Hongao Mining Company Limited located in Kutasa Community of the Abuja Municipal Area Council of the FCT for contaminating the water in the community,” the agency tweeted.
