A Chief Magistrates Court in Yaba Lagos State has remanded Chidinma Adora Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the death of Usifo Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, and one Adedapo Quadri, in prison detention on Monday.

Ojukwu was remanded in custody for 30 days by Magistrate Mrs Adeola Adedayo, seeking legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Ojukwu, 21, is facing trial for the murder of Ataga in a short let apartment they rented in the Lekki area of Lagos.

She initially confessed killing the deceased but later retracted her story in another interview where she denied killing him. She has been in the custody of the Nigerian police Force until her remand today. Ataga has been buried.
